General Star Management Co. has updated its Architects and Engineers (A&E) liability program and making it available in all states.
The program will be offered through PCM Services, LLC, New York, N.Y., the sole program administrator for this new national facility.
The company said it has developed a new policy form specifically for this program. It provides coverage for traditional A&E exposures, as well as a number of automatic enhancements that address modern business risks faced by professionals, such as privacy and information security. These additional protections have generally been unavailable in a single professional policy.
The program is written on a primary basis and targeted at small to mid-size firms with receipts up to $10,000,000. Worldwide coverage is included, with limits of up to $5,000,000 available.
Coverage will be written by General Star Indemnity Co. or General Star National Insurance Co. Both companies are rated A++ (Superior) by A.M. Best Company and carry an AAA Insurance Financial Strength Rating from Standard & Poor’s Corp.
Coverage will be written on a non-admitted basis in all states.
