Agreed–companies should crack down on the employee use of cell phones to make calls while their employees are driving on company business. I get around that by…..Texting!

Thanks for posting these results! We at ZoomSafer took a lot of time and effort to compile these and we found the data to be quite shocking. We implore individuals involved with corporate safety or fleet management to visit http://www.zoomsafer.com and see what our products can do for them.

A small note: we are based in Reston, VA and not California.

    Insurance Journal,
Please remove the “advertisement” for the software company mentioned in the Rajiv’s comments. It’s one thing for me to look up the website based on information in the article. It’s another thing for them to shamlessly plug their company in the manner Rajiv did. It has no place here.

Apologies if my post offended you. I’m a summer intern working at ZoomSafer and was admittedly overzealous with my comment. Won’t happen again.

I worked as a field sales manager in the P&C industry for more than a decade and to fill that wasted windshield time, my superiors would have conference calls; I didn’t mind, I was driving their car!
