    It is time to get it right. This means study, research and a work that will always be in progress, but one after the smoke clears will be deemed to be fair to all at any level in society that want to use the internet in the spirit for which it was intended! To put together anything in a rush is not doing justice to anyone or for anyone. Now we have the time, let’s use it wisely

      Unfortunately, the people who will be tasked to “get it right” will subborn it for their own lobbyist-backed concerns.

        Yes, and when the Fed. Gov. moves in for regulation, prices go up! Also, privacy goes down. When it does happen, before or after November, the privacy/ freedom you have today will be reduced once again.

    They never learn. Think of the unintended consequences of “Prohibition;” and imagine the by-products of a government effort at Internet Censorship. With all those good, creative, iconoclastic minds out there, people who love a challenge, who think and play outside the box, the Internet will morph faster than the regulators can print pages for the rule book. Then there’s retribution…
