The only place I disagree is as to “T”; Talent. As you take a good hard look at the P&C industry (including E&S) you see the damage that two decades of neglect have done in terms of lack of training and experience. It is far less common to see insurance designations than in the past, and companies support these efforts far less than they historically have. Similar to what manufacturing is seeing right now, there is going to have to be a renewed focus on developing skill and loyalty in talent, particularly in the claims and shared services ranks, like SIU.
