Really?.. falling out of a golf cart is pretty common with the people I play golf with. Many people drive erratic in these when whipping around a golf course. Soon we will be expected to be belted in to avoid injury.
From the comments I’ve seen, it appears erratic and irresponsible driving is okay on a golf course. Or the golf courses are designed in a manner inconsistent with the safe use of motorized vehicles. Kudos to the manufacturer for the recall; however, the recall won’t work unless the users do their part as well. (As to using golf cart on a roadway…it just shouldn’t happen.)

Many carts are street legal/licensed and require belts.
That hip bar is important and does keep people from falling out on sharp turns.
Fore!
