Vertafore Launches Updated Agency Cloud, Mobile Technology

March 7, 2014

Insurance software provider Vertafore unveiled its next step cloud and mobile innovations for its premier agency technologies – Vertafore Agency Platform, Sagitta Suite and Vertafore Producer Advantage.

The products were announced at the 38th Network of Vertafore Users (NetVu) Conference in Nashville.

The Vertafore Agency Platform continues to evolve into an integrated single application that agencies need to provide “anytime, anywhere” service for clients, according to the vendor.

The newest improvements to the software include a consolidated dashboard that presents the data and information users need to make decisions and execute important tasks. The new dashboard includes global search functionality that helps agencies service clients at the moment of need. This is accomplished by unifying all information an agency has stored in the Vertafore Agency Platform.

Vertafore’s Sagitta Suite has worked in parallel with the innovations for the Vertafore Agency Platform by incorporating its new ACORD eForms cloud technology. This feature will reduce IT costs and save agencies time by updating to the latest ACORD forms without requiring additional budget and resources required to upgrade to a new version of Sagitta. The cloud-based eForms product ensures agencies are using the most current forms they need to connect and collaborate with carriers to provide insurance.

The next area of agency technology Vertafore has launched is the Vertafore Producer Advantage, which was previously only available for the iOS devices, but is now available on Android devices. With more than 93 percent of smartphone adoption split between Android and iOS, this option expands the potential number of producers that can serve clients in the field. In addition to expanding its potential adoption, Vertafore Producer Advantage features several enhancements, including:

  • A new automated export feature that eliminates re-keying of data from Vertafore Producer Advantage to AMS360. This feature, unique to insurance mobile applications, lets producers be mobile without having to go back to the office to reenter data from their mobile application into the agency management system.
  • Integration with Vertafore Single Sign-On which creates a single log-in for producers to access all Vertafore Producer Advantage capabilities and data.
  • Enhanced sales pipeline visibility and producer productivity through a new consolidated “sold/lost” view and an enhanced user interface make the application more intuitive no matter the device.

“These improvements stem from Vertafore’s significant investments in R&D company-wide which total more than $50 million annually and are part of the company’s efforts to accelerate productivity so agencies can better service clients at the moment of need,” said Mark Craig, senior vice president of Product Management, Vertafore.
