#6. Put a muzzle on your players so they don’t publicly state that his team should make every effort to break Richard Sherman’s arm during the Super Bowl. What’s even more pathetic is that this has occurred in the past with the Saints, and several coaches and players were suspended.

Mickey, this has been going on a lot of years. Buddy Ryan who coached the Eagles years ago put a bounty on the head of the Dallas kicker and every time he kicked off they would all descend on him like locusts and try to bury him in the middle of the field. New Orleans got caught in their own little scheme and it cost them suspensions with players and coaches. NFL teams coach players to get away with cheating. They know the crews and what will be called and push the envelope in every game. Holding can be called on about every play if it were strictly enforced, but we would have 6 hour ballgames and not much action so they let a lot go.

How much is the premium for a policy to cover bursting balls?

If they don’t learn anything about life in College, a personal manager isn’t going to get the job done either.
They enter the NFL knowing that is a high risk of sever injury. They reap the rewards during their playing days.
Clock Management – Field position managers…. Really? Shouldn’t that be up to the teams?

Hi FFA. I agree. These players often have the maturity of someone in Junior High. These agents get hold of them and rip them off of much of the money telling them they can make lucrative investments for them. All of a sudden, the money is gone. Dez Bryant has an entourage around him siphoning off his money and he will have to sign an enormous contract to keep the entourage happy. My guess is that his money will all be gone within 10 years of retirement and he will be washing cars or getting into trouble.

Nothing about dealing with the concussion problem in the NFL which has so far cost them at least $750 million? Missing the boat here.

How about teaching young players from high school on to not use their head to tackle? By the time they get to the pro’s, they are hitting 250lb tail backs and no wonder they get their bell rung. I saw 4 different tackles on Demarco Murray in the Detroit game which were helmet to helmet. Detroit did not get flagged once for those hits. It is a good thing he is tough, but at some point he will get a concussion from them. The equipment is just not that good to protect the player.

Isn’t that why most people watch the game? Oh, and the booze…
