    it’s probably because their applications are brutally long and redundant. I prefer call it a psychological exam. While many carriers are trying to reduce paperwork, surplus lines appears to be headed in the opposite direction.

        Again, my gripe is with the redundancy. I completed an application for a client where they asked the same exact question on 3 different forms.
