Soon, companies will hire all male or all female staff to avoid these types of problems.

Why is it so difficult to understand why women would want and demand to be paid the same as a man for doing the same job? Why is it difficult to understand why women would want and demand to be given the same opportunity to advance in a company as a man?

“When you’re accustomed to privilege, equality feels like oppression”.

Intro to equality – When I want more money, I ask for it. If I am told “no” I work harder or find a new job. I have no issue with women getting paid more money. What I will fight to the death are lawsuits that say “give it to me because you gave it to him” or “you gave it to him and not to me so the only possible explanation is that your a sexist.” I guarantee you all the men with the same job are not all making the same amount. Do they all get a raise to match the highest paid person? No, because they’re men so who cares about them. You want equal treatment…you got it. That means you have to suffer though the unfairness of life just like everyone else. Can a man sue his company if the woman sitting next to him makes more than he does? Is it a business owner’s fault if a woman is willing to work for less pay? Is it really fair that a company be forced to pay a woman more than she is willing to accept because the man sitting next to her wants more? If you’re actually being discriminated against prove it, sue and win a bunch of money. You deserve it. “He makes more than me” is not proving it and frankly implies women need a short cut. Which to me, is not equality, its female-supremacy. I have sisters and if someone told me they need courts to force their employers to pay them more because they can’t do it on their own I’d probably have to protect you from the beating one them would try to put on you. Women are strong, they don’t need help. They need the confidence that comes from telling them they don’t need special protection or a legal crutch. They can do everything a man can do without a hand-out or short-cut through the legal system. If they are ambitious and a man is in their way Step on him! Don’t go crying to a lawyer that the bad man is being mean to you. That’s what people expected of women in the 40’s. Women have come a long way since then. We should treat them like equals by letting them stand on their own. That’s how you show respect to someone.
