Mandeville, La.-based FARA announced the appointment of Eric Knudsen as national sales manager.
In this position, Knudsen is responsible for developing business for the company with brokers, carriers and self-insured entities.
“We are pleased to add Eric to our management team,” said M. Todd Richard, president and chief executive officer of FARA. “He brings a wealth of experience to FARA and will be an integral part of our strategic business development initiatives.”
Knudsen spent the last sixteen years in sales management with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Recently he served as regional sales manager for Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma, where he directed all commercial sales operations, including the development and retention of $40 million in property and casualty premium. In this role Knudsen consistently exceeded customer retention goals each year. He previously served Liberty Mutual as the customer market manager and business sales manager for the north Texas region.
