It is too bad the government cannot be more aggressive against fraud and abuse from doctors, hospitals and vendors who rip off Medicare on a regular basis. They bill for multiple treatments, wheel chairs and all sorts of appliances etc and Medicare pays off like a slot machine. It has been widely reported to be in the neighborhood of $100 billion per year. This outright fraud should be prosecuted and Medicare wouldn’t be in the trouble it is in.

my wife won a suit in Oct.2014, our lawyer said, the check could
not be released until medicare examines, could take 30-60-or 90 days, It’d been over 110 days, our attorney does not return our calls, we just wanted to know if there was any information.
does Medicre take this long to look at a check?
