The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has scheduled rate hearings June 5 in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. for input from the public concerning rate filings by State Farm Florida Insurance Co., which requested statewide average increases of 61.5 percent and 11.9 percent for homeowners and 95.3 percent for mobile homeowners.
According to the OIR, the requested rates are not uniform and some areas are subject to higher or lower rate changes.
The hearings will be at noon and 6 p.m. at the Hilton Walt Disney Resort, 1751 Hotel Plaza Boulevard.
