Georgia Insurance and Safety Fire Commission launched an improved and redesigned version of its Web site, making it more navigable and
user friendly, said Insurance Commissioner John W. Oxendine.
Consumers can find information on a variety of insurance topics, e-mail questions, file complaints, search for an agent, access the insurance company directory, and even compare auto insurance rates, Oxendine said.
In addition, insurance agents may check the status of their license, download applications and other forms, and file those forms online.
Fire service contractors such as sprinkler contractors, LP gas companies and those companies and individuals that handle hazardous materials may download applications for various permits and licenses as well, the commissioner said.
The Department’s Web site address is www.gainsurance.org.
