Florida has enough crooked agents. We don’t more from other states.

Why are you asking Jack? says:

Obviously, Agent, Jack did not write the article so why are you asking him about a GL Property policy? You can’t figure out what was meant by that? Why should a 91 year old run a business if they have all their faculties?

You will always know when it is me posting, Agent. I’ll either use my name in the name field or I’ll end my posts like I am doing right now. Also, I have never upvoted or downvoted posts ad nauseam like you do.

you do not have to guess if it’s me or not. if it’s me, i will put my name somewhere in the post. also, i don’t play the stupid voting game that you do, so it’s never giving anyone more than one vote.

        Agent,

How do you not know what is a General Liability Property Policy?

From the article, “DIF said it wasn’t until one of the workers under the policy was injured and filed a claim against the policy sold by Rodeffer that it was realized the policy never existed.” Obviously the 91 year old did indeed need the coverage. Would you have talked him out of purchasing the policy on the sole basis of his age?

I fear for your clients. I hope your E&O is paid up.

    To Agent…

A 91 year old can have live-in help, maid, driver, nurse etc. If hired directly by him and he is the employer, then why would a worker’s comp policy seem unusual? Where I live in Florida, several of my elderly clients have full time household employees and they carry worker’s comp (usually advised by their financial advisor or trustee)…… you don’t have to have a brick and mortar store or be a contractor to have workers comp………does anyone think outside the box, it isn’t always square….
