Richard Swoy, chairman of Superior Access Insurance Services Inc., announced that SAIS has added another financially stable, “A+” rated admitted carrier. According to Swoy, “This is just the beginning of the kind of new admitted markets we will be introducing through the remainder of this year to our subscriber base.”
This program is designed for fast food and family style restaurants for individual or multiple locations up to $50 million in property values. While it is primarily focused on ethnic, fast food, family dining, food courts, cafeterias and pizza without delivery, local, independent food establishments and national franchises may also be eligible. Restaurants must be under the same management and at the same location for at last three years. At this time, program is available for California only. It will be extended to other states shortly.
The program is very competitive on premium ranges between $1,200 low to $150,000 high. It automatically includes up to $5,000 for food spoilage, with higher limits available and can be extended to include power failure. Equipment permanently attached including dishwashing, ventilating, cooking and laundering equipment is covered. for tenant occupancy only, list equipment separately. It excludes delivery and liquor over 25 percent of sales.
