Los Angeles, 9 October 2009 - Lois J. Massa has joined GJS Re as Senior Vice President effective September 8, 2009. Lois is responsible for structuring and managing insurance products/placements on behalf of program administrators and markets.
GJS Re is a national program and specialty reinsurance intermediary. “We are delighted to have someone of Lois’ stature and reputation join the GJS Re team,” commented Hank Haldeman, President. “The core of our value to our program manager clients is our ability to consult over the entire spectrum of skills that underlie a stable relationship with their insurers and reinsurers. Ms. Massa is a 26 year veteran in the insurance industry. Lois has held business development and management roles with risk management, primary and reinsurance companies, and retail and wholesale brokerage operations. For the past 11 years, Lois has worked exclusively with wholesale agents and MGAs.

Ms. Massa has a B.A. degree from Luther College and an M.P.A. from Northern Illinois University. She also has the ARM designation and extensive GE management and sales training. Lois will be based in Rhode Island where she has resided since 1991.
