Vido to Head New San Diego Office of SullivanCurtisMonroe

SullivanCurtisMonroe Insurance Services has appointed Igor Vido as senior vice president and managing director of its new San Diego office. Superior Access Insurance Services Relocates to Larger, Irvine Facility

Superior Access Insurance Services Inc. has moved to a new 23,000-square-foot-facility in Irvine, Calif. The facility is designed to more adequately house a staff increase of more than 50 percent this year and meet the agents’ needs, according to Mike Mayo, president.

AVRECO Plans to Open San Diego Office

AVRECO, a member of The Park Group with offices in Chicago, New York, Philadelphia, London, and Bermuda, has announced plans to open a San Diego office. In October 2005, the company announced it had hired Greg Schrom, vice president, who will be responsible for the development of all lines of business in California and the Southwest market. Schrom will initially focus on brokering medical and non-medical professional liability and using his binding authority for small package business.

ACE USA Opens Seattle, Colorado, Arizona Branch Offices

ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operating division of the ACE Group of Companies, has opened Seattle, Colorado and Arizona branch offices.

Maureen Amant has joined ACE USA as Seattle branch manager. Anne Nadler, who has joined ACE USA as Colorado and Arizona branch manager, will be based in Denver.

Amant and Nadler will work closely with brokers and clients in their areas to expand ACE USA’s local presence. The company believes there are tremendous growth opportunities in those areas, and the new offices will help the company better understand their needs, according to company executives.
