Legislative issues affecting insurance agents will be discussed by guest speaker Rep. Dennis A. Ross, D-Lakeland and other industry leaders during the March 29 to 30 Annual Legislative “Fly-In” being held in Tallahassee by the Florida Association of Insurance Agents.
FAIA will have a briefing about legislative issues March 29 at 3 p.m.
Also on March 29, Joel Blackwell will discuss grassroots lobbying. Later in the evening FAIA is holding a pig roast for members and invited guests, with transportation provided.
March 30 will begin with a morning wrap-up of key issues, after which FAIA members will meet with their legislators and discuss important insurance topics.
