Adivsen surveyed 300 risk managers from a variety of industries on supply chain risk management issues. Around 70 percent of larger companies in a more advanced stage of developing a supply chain risk management practice said they had either good or excellent ability to collaborate with their suppliers. Smaller firms and those at the beginning stages of supply chain risk management development seemed to expect just the opposite – 70 percent of those respondents said their ability to collaborate with suppliers was moderate, fair or poor.
