Not sure where you come by your statistics, but that is not consistent with what I have read nor with my experiences. As a federal agent (I’m now retired with my own business) I have indicted probably a dozen insurance employees – most have been mid-level, one scheme lasted 17 years (yes – through 16 audits). Most were driven by addictions, gambling or drugs. The mix in this career type had been close to 50-50 male/female.
