I 100% agree with Team Business and have unfortunately encountered some producers that operate in a very “selfish” manner. True, this can lead to personal success for that producer, but at what cost? Each producer has a support team that is essential to their success, whether they are sales support staff or CSRs. Unethical behavior or cutting corners in general on the producer’s behalf can cause problems with not only their own staff, but others in the agency as well. The success of any agency does not rest solely on one person, but a team effort, and it is imperative to remember this.
