Wow – you would think a journal focused on insurance would have a more rounded response to this, perhaps some investigative journalism to go along with it?! That OSU is self-insured might be of interest – how is it that the university plans to insure this building that Mr. Ray is so confident he can build? How about a look at how absurd it is in relationship to what other countries, more experienced countries, will allow to be built in a tsunami zone per their laws and regulations? Nah – you just re-print OSU’s press release and add a new title. Perhaps this was submitted by a board of trustees member? They of course had no official say in this decision, as they’ve voted to not make such decisions – Mr Ray is the power in chief. So the title should really read “President Ed Ray…..” So much for science driving decisions of a university….
