Judith Elizabeth Dominquez, 44, a former Huntington Park, Calif. insurance broker, appeared in Superior Court for arraignment following the filing of a felony complaint by the Huntington Park District Attorney’s Office recently. The complaint was filed as a result of an investigation conducted by the CDI Criminal Investigations Branch’s Investigation Bureau.
Dominguez, formerly licensed by CDI as a Fire and Casualty Broker-Agent and Life Agent, was charged with the crime of Grand Theft by Embezzlement, a felony. The charges stemmed from Dominguez’ alleged failure to obtain commercial general liability coverage for a security guard company after collecting over $20,000 in premium during 1999 and Jan. 2000. Dominguez’ insurance license was revoked by CDI effective Aug. 28, 2002.
