Nuts & Bolts: Arch Insurance Group, a division of Arch Capital Group Ltd., introduced an environmental multi-line policy, which offers insurance for environmental contractors and consultants requiring multiple coverages in one integrated policy. The new policy provides a broad coverage solution in a single, integrated package for environmental contractors and consultants who have environmental risk exposure. The integrated policy form offers insureds and brokers flexibility of coverage, limits, deductibles and trigger types in one well integrated and easy to understand package. Coverage may not be available in all states and may vary from state to state. Offered coverages include, commercial general liability, contractors pollution liability and errors and omissions. Options for individual or combined aggregate limits are incorporated as well as the availability of occurrence coverages or claims made. An integrated form with one declarations page for all coverages is offered. Policies may be written on a blanket or project-specific basis and excess coverage is available. Target markets consist of environmental contractors, environmental consultants, environmental project managers, emergency response contractors, remediation contractors and environmental engineers.
Dollars: The policy has a deductible of $5,000, minimum premium of $25,000 and limits of liability up to $25 million.
