Arthur J. Gallagher announced its financial results for the third quarter and nine months that ended Sept. 30. Total revenues were $526,944,000, compared to $471,629,000 last year, an increase of 12 percent. Net earnings were $62,375,000, up 22 percent for the nine months. Net earnings per share for nine months were $1.51, up 18 percent from $1.28 in 1999. For the third quarter of 2000, total revenues increased 14 percent and net earnings increased 30 percent from the end of 1999. Quarterly net earnings per share were $.73, up 24 percent from $.59 in 1999.
