Higginbotham & Associates, an independent insurance agency headquartered in Fort Worth, has initiated a new division to market Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) for businesses with 10 to 100 employees. The company said the new division represents several highly regarded PEOs that provide services such as human resource consulting, compliance and administration, workers’ compensation and risk management, employee benefit programs, and payroll processing. The 53-year-old firm provides small business insurance and group benefits—as well as personal lines—from CNA, The Hartford, Kemper, SAFECO, The Zenith, Zurich North America Small Business and other carriers.
