The California Insurance Wholesalers Association endorsed Assemblyman Thomas Calderon in his bid to become the next Insurance Commissioner in California. Calderon has won the support of a number of groups, including: The Service Employees International Union; United Food and Commercial Workers State Council; California School Employees Association; State Association of Electrical Workers; Los Angeles Police Protective League; California Conference of Machinists; California Teamsters; Amalgamated Transit Union, Local 1277; California Organization of Police and Sheriffs; United Domestic Workers of America; Communication Workers of America, Local 9400; San Bernardino/Riverside Central Labor Council; and Laborers, Local 300.
