The Georgia Association of Property/Casualty Insurance Companies (GAPCIC) board of directors has approved the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) as its newest member. “NAMIC has a strong reputation on federal and regulatory issues, and our collaboration with them on state issues in Georgia will benefit both of our memberships,” said Doyle Kelly, GAPIC president and president of CNL/Insurance America in Macon. “Like GAPCIC, NAMIC believes open and competitive markets provide affordable, high-quality insurance products to consumers,” said Roger Schmelzer, NAMIC senior vice president of State and Regulatory Affairs.
