The Connecticut Insurance Department has released the 2000 version of the managed care report card, a comprehensive look at all HMOs and the 15 largest indemnity managed care organizations doing business in the state.
Used in conjunction with the plan specific information received from the companies and employers, the report card should provide consumers with useful information in selecting a health plan. “In addition to statistical and quality measures, more member satisfaction survey results have been included in this year’s guide,” said Commissioner Susan F. Cogswell.
Copies of the guide may be obtained by calling 860/297-3900 or 800/203-3477. It will soon be available at the department’s web site at www.state.ct.us/cid/
