The New York State Insurance Department’s web site now lists a full set of guidelines and requirements for insurers to use the State’s electronic form filing system (SERFF).
The Table of Contents sets out the following sections:
-Section I Regarding All Rate, Rule, Territory, Classification and Form Filings -Section II Additional Requirements for Rate Filings
– Section III Adoptions of Rate Service Organization (RSO) Filings
-Section IV Checklists, Forms and Optional “Speed to Market” Filing Procedures
– Section V Other General Instructions, Guidelines, Specifications and Prohibitions
