The Philadelphia Insurance Companies announced that its website has won the “Flood Public Awareness award” at the National Flood Conference held in New Orleans.
“The annual flood conference, held by The Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration (FIMA), sponsors a public awareness contest spotlighting those who are outstanding in providing the public with information on flooding and the impact on the community,” said the bulletin.
Philadelphia participates nationally with two flood companies, Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company and Mobile USA Insurance Company, which provide flood quotes for both commercial and personal lines prospects.
Dan Eldridge, President & CEO of Mobile USA commented, “Often one of the obstacles of selling flood insurance is the lack of consumer knowledge about the destruction and devastation of flooding. It was our desire to assist the agent in educating the public on the critical need for flood insurance by providing http://www.risingwaters.biz,” the award winning site. “We take great pride in achieving this recognition and an even greater pride in achieving our goal,” he concluded.
