PIANJ Honors Gerry Wilson as Company Person of the Year

The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey Inc. also announced that Gerry Wilson, president and CEO of Palisades Safety and Insurance Management Corporation, will receive the “Company Person of the Year” award at the association’s annual conference to be held at Bally’s Atlantic City, June 8-10.

“PIANJ presents this award to the company representative who best fosters a sound working relationship between insurance agents and companies, and who exemplifies a commitment to professionalism and service as a company professional,” said the bulletin. “Wilson’s goal at Palisades is to provide a stable, long-term market for auto insurance in New Jersey and to provide customers and agents with the best possible service. Under his leadership, Palisades continues to grow with an excellent reputation in New Jersey.”

Steven Reichman, CIC, executive VP of NIA Group LLC in Somerset and immediate past president of PIANJ, stated: “Gerry has been instrumental in developing agent-friendly language in Palisades contracts with producers, which, eventually led to beneficial legislation to help all our members.” I can’t think of stronger actions toward building agent/company relations.”
