Underwriters at Lloyd’s of London have appointed Connecticut-based William Kramer & Associates (WKA) as the sole claim loss insurance adjuster for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority (MTA).
WKA has extensive experience in loss control, including work on the largest highway project in American history, Boston’s Big Dig, and expertise in the London insurance market.
MTA manages the 138-mile Mass. Turnpike, the Metropolitan Highway System, the Ted Williams Tunnel, and the I-90 Connector. WKA representatives will be meeting with the MTA next month to determine the extent of the work. It is expected to include all insured interests in infrastructure such as transformers, tunnels, bridges, and tollbooths plus all MTA property. WKA’s Boston regional office will head up the account.
