Carvill, a leading independent reinsurance intermediary in Specialty business, announced that John Beckman has joined its ReAdvisory team as a senior vice president. He will be responsible for further developing ReAdvisory’s capabilities and providing key client services, such as actuarial, modeling and financial analysis.
Beckman has over 14 years experience in the actuarial field in both the insurance and reinsurance industry, and brings “a wealth of knowledge to ReAdvisory.” Most recently, he was responsible for catastrophe underwriting for CNA Re, and spent a majority of his career working with additional CNA insurance companies.
“Under Beckman’s leadership, ReAdvisory will expand further into financial analysis tools, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and new product development,” said the announcement.
“I am very pleased to be joining Carvill and look forward to developing ReAdvisory’s resources,” Beckman commented. “Carvill has an impressive track record in delivering ‘cutting edge’ products and expertise in presenting and negotiating, utilizing new evaluations, and I believe these services will be a cornerstone of future intermediary relationships.”
This announcement follows the additions of Gerry McCartney, Sean Ryan and Stacey Long to the ReAdvisory team in the US. Carvill said it intends to continue to “add seasoned professionals to their production group over the next year. “
