National agent/broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has acquired R. P. O’Brien & Co., Inc. of White Plains, New York. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Founded in 1988, R. P. O’Brien & Co. offers risk management, property, casualty and employee benefit insurance services for their commercial and personal lines clients in the Northeast with a special emphasis on professional liability products and directors & officers liability. Rory O’Brien and his staff will continue to operate in White Plains under the direction of John Stancik, Northeast Regional Manager of Gallagher’s Brokerage Service Retail Division.
