Harleysville Insurance has appointed Donna M. Dever as senior vice president of Performance Excellence. In this position, she directs the company’s ongoing initiative to make the company’s operational processes more effective and efficient using various methodologies, including Six Sigma.
Dever will report to Michael L. Browne, Harleysville Group’s president and chief executive officer.
Dever joined Harleysville in 1996, and most recently served as vice president and associate general counsel. Prior to Harleysville, she served as an attorney with the law firm of Stradley, Ronon, Stevens and Young in Philadelphia, Pa. In total, she has nearly 15 years of legal and analytical experience.
