Niche insurance underwriter Britt/Paulk has opened a new office in Selbyville, Del. This new office will focus on underwriting the agency’s Timber Harvesting Program.
The company also announced that three underwriters are joining the firm: George M. Pusey, branch manager; Mary Anne Pusey, underwriter; and Libby Davis, underwriter.
George Pusey has worked in the insurance industry for 30 years. He has held various positions including claim supervisor, direct sales manager, agency marketing manager and program agency development manager for the mid-Atlantic area. He will assist in the underwriting management of the Timber Harvesting Program for eligible states in conjunction with the Carrollton office and assist in the marketing of all other Britt/Paulk programs.
The “A” rated Timber Harvesting Program provides property and casualty coverage to loggers engaged in the commercial harvesting and/or transportation of raw wood. Britt/Paulk said offers the program through selected agents and wholesalers in 28 states (AL, CT, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, WI AND WV).
Britt/Paulk is a general agency that underwrites specific niche property programs in 49 states.
