“There are indeed people to blame,” Whitman said. “They are the terrorists who attacked the United States, not the men and women at all levels of government who worked heroically to protect and defend this country.”
You obviously were not in downtown Manhattan on September 11th and on. If you were you would KNOW that the air was foul, you could SMELL it. Yet assurances continually came from Christie & our employers as they turned off the air supplies coming in from the outside.
The air was probably no different than the smoke filled bars or porn shops that New Yorker’s hang out in on a daily basis. Quit whining. What was she supposed to do, bring a giant vacuum down there and clean the air? Get real
For attaching, yes. For cousing the bad air to be released, yes. For the Bad air, with no health warnings, yes. Those builings were full of asbestos, plastics resins, etc.
The atmosphere in which you had to work was tragic. May I ask, even if you knew it was not safe would you still have returned to work? The Firemen who died going into those buildings new for sure they were not safe yet they went in anyway. I’m not saying you as much a hero but I hope you see my point. I’m glad we are in agreement that this was 100% the fault of the terrorists and that is where the blame should be correctly placed.

Well said! Thank you!

…and that does not change the fact that the terrorist were at fault. Agreed?
