Buffalo, New York-based insurance wholesaler Russell Bond & Co. has opened a new office in Southampton, Massachusetts.
It is the third location for Russell Bond; in addition to its headquarters the firm also has a New Jersey office.
Barbara J. Simpson has joined the firm as assistant vice president and manager of the New England territory. Simpson most recently served as a regional branch manager for another wholesaler. Prior to that, she was Northeast Regional Director for Burlington Insurance Group. She has also worked at Wausau Insurance and at the St. Paul Cos.
In other news, the firm announced that Lara Bird has been promoted to to underwriting assistant in the Buffalo office.
