Specialty insurer Torus has appointed Alex Maza to oversee its U.S. Management Liability platform.
Maza, who is based in New Jersey, will focus on building Torus’ offerings — which include D&O, Employment Practices, Fiduciary and Fidelity Liability products — for publicly traded and private entities in the United States.
He has 16 years of management liability experience, 11 of which were spent at Zurich North American, where he most recently served as senior vice president within its Strategic Risk Solutions group. He has also held underwriting roles within both Zurich North American and AIG.
