John T. Leonard, president and CEO of Maine-based workers’ comp insurer the MEMIC Group, has been elected chairman of the National Council on Compensation Insurance Inc. (NCCI).
NCCI is the a key ratemaking organization in the workers’ compensation insurance industry.
Leonard has served as a member of the NCCI Board since 2007, and was previously an NCCI board member from 1995 to 1997.
Leonard has served as president and CEO of MEMIC since the company’s inception in 1993. He also serves as chairman of the board for ACORD
