Lockton Adds 4 Execs to D.C. Construction Practice

Insurance broker Lockton Cos. has expanded its Construction Services Group with the addition of four construction insurance and surety experts in its Washington, D.C. operations.

Douglas A. Crowe, Jr. and Alexander N. Crowe have been appointed vice presidents; Don K. Kawamoto has been named vice president and surety manager; and Brian L. Mack has been appointed vice president of construction insurance.

Doug Crowe has 18 years in surety bonding with an emphasis on serving large risk management clients with an emphasis on construction firms, real estate development concerns, government service contractors and specialty contractors in the Washington, D.C. Area.

Alexander Crowe has more than 15 years in surety bonding and commercial insurance working nationally with general contractors and specialty construction firms.

Mack has worked extensively with construction and real estate firms in his 12 years in the commercial experience industry. He attended the University of Akron and served in the United States Navy as a nuclear power instructor in Charleston, SC.

Kawamoto has been an adviser to construction firms on surety bonds and risk management for more than 32 years.

All will be based at Lockton’s office in NW D.C., pending the planned opening of a new suburban Washington office in Reston, Virginia next month.
