Too bad he didn’t fall in New York State. Our Labor Law Sections 240/241 (onle state left in the nation with laws like this) would make him an instant millionaire. Because it is strict liability, he could have even been intoxicated and still grabbed the brass ring.
This guy was an officer of the company that specializes in roofing. If they were there to replace a roof, there had to be an underlying reason…..like maybe it was in danger of collapse. He was too busy and chose not to take time to use standard safety procedures that would have prevented his death.

The post you are criticizing does not disrespect the deceased. It merely point out the deceased could and should have prevented his untimely death.
