The Connecticut Chapter of the National Association of Insurance Women has named Cynthia Bruce, an underwriter at E&S broker S.H. Smith & Co., as its Connecticut professional underwriter of the year.
Bruce specializes in underwriting workers’ compensation insurance for small businesses. She joined S.H. Smith & Co. in 2005.
