Connecticut-based General Star announced the addition of Frank Oleskiewicz to its Brokerage Property Division. He will be located in the insurer’s New York branch office, where he will serve as vice president and product manager, Inland Marine.
Oleskiewicz will be principally responsible for inland marine products for distribution by appointed wholesale brokers.
General Star noted that access to inland marine products will be limited at the outset but will be expanded as Oleskiewicz adds the resources needed to accommodate additional wholesalers.
Oleskiewicz has 35 years of insurance industry experience. Before joining General Star, he was vice president and senior underwriter in the Marine & Offshore Energy unit of XL Insurance, New York. Prior to that, he was director of inland marine for Catlin. From 1993 to early 2007, he was vice president, Global Property Facultative for General Reinsurance.
