MSO, Inc.’s (The Mutual Service Office, Inc.) personal umbrella program has been approved in New York. The MSO homeowners program was previously approved in the state.
Highlights of the personal umbrella program include:
- Option to write as an endorsement to the underlying homeowners or as a standalone.
- Excess liability or umbrella format.
MSO has provided product development and rating services to the insurance industry since 1944. It works with companies to customize the program to meet a company’s marketing and underwriting requirements.
MSO plans to continue to expand with additional programs in a growing number of states.
