The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. has appointed Meredith Lavallee as personal lines territory sales manager for the company’s Massachusetts market, effective Aug. 1. In her new role, Lavallee will help the company’s agents sell The Hanover’s portfolio of personal lines products. Lavallee will work out of The Hanover’s headquarters in Worcester, Mass.
Lavallee joined The Hanover in July 2011 and most recently served as a regional director in the national distribution group at Travelers Insurance Companies, where she worked with independent agents across the country. Prior to that Lavallee served as an agency development manager at Travelers.
The Hanover is the holding company for a group of insurers that includes The Hanover Insurance Co., also based in Worcester, Citizens Insurance Co. of America, headquartered in Howell, Mich., and Chaucer Holdings PLC, based in London, and their affiliates.
