Selective Insurance Group in Branchville, N.J., announced two promotions in its Selective Insurance Company of America subsidiary.
Dana Shutters is promoted to vice president, operational excellence. He joined Selective in Nov. 2010 as assistant vice president of quality assurance. Prior to that, he was vice president of resolution services with CUNA Mutual Insurance Society.
Katherine Slonina is promoted to assistant vice president, regulatory compliance officer. She joined Selective in Feb. 2011 as manager of regulatory services. Prior to that, she served as an auditor with American Safety Insurance Group.
Selective Insurance Group is a holding company for seven property/casualty insurance companies. Through independent agents, the insurance companies offer primary and alternative market insurance for commercial and personal risks, and flood insurance underwritten by the National Flood Insurance Program.
