BDO Consulting, a professional services provider, appointed Clark Schweers as managing director and head of its insurance claim services practice.
Based in Washington, D.C., Schweers will advise clients on complex property and business interruption claims for insured businesses.
Prior to joining the firm, Schweers was a senior manager in Ernst & Young’s fraud investigation and dispute services practice. At Ernst & Young, he advised clients on complex business interruption and property damage claims, construction damage and fraud investigation matters for more than 13 years. He assisted Fortune 1000 companies in preparing and analyzing complex insurance claims relating to losses from catastrophic events.
Schweers also worked with clients on product liability/contamination matters and assisted in the arbitration of mergers and acquisition disputes. He is a certified fraud examiner (CFE) and an associate member of the American Bar Association and Risk Management Society.
BDO Consulting provides litigation, investigation, insurance claims, business restructuring and risk advisory services to clients.
