TD Insurance, a subsidiary of TD Bank, has promoted Shalonta Ford to vice president and insurance regional sales specialist in personal lines in Wethersfield, Conn.

She will continue to serve as a liaison between TD Insurance and TD Bank’s retail stores in the Connecticut market, providing internal coaching and development to help boost cross-sell and promote TD Insurance products and services.
Ford has 15 years’ experience in banking and insurance. She joined TD Insurance in 2010 and most recently served as an assistant vice president. Prior to joining TD Insurance, she served as a store manager at TD Bank’s Cheshire, Conn., office.
TD Insurance is one of the 10 largest bank-owned insurance agency and brokerage firms in the country. It offers general insurance and life and health insurance to half a million personal and business customers.
